A beautiful sterling silver thimble with an attractive hand-engraved floral and foliate decoration covering the traditional tapered body. Despite its relatively modern hallmark date, it has a classic appearance inspired by much earlier Victorian and Edwardian silver thimbles.
This example is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1981 and would make an excellent addition to a sewing, thimble or silver collection.
