Maker History
Founded in 1881, Seiko is one of Japan's most respected watch manufacturers and is renowned for producing high-quality mechanical and quartz timepieces. During the 1960s and 1970s, Seiko developed its Hi-Beat movements, which operated at higher frequencies than standard watches to improve accuracy and performance. These watches remain popular with collectors today for their reliability and quality engineering.
