Antique WWI Silver ID Bracelet – London 1916 – John Collard Vickery – R.A.S.C. – S.E. Robinson

Description:
A fine antique solid silver WWI military identity bracelet, hallmarked for London 1916 with the maker’s mark J.C.V. for John Collard Vickery, the respected London jeweller and silversmith. The front of the ID plate is hand-engraved:

“S.E. ROBINSON”
“S/4 157639”
“R.A.S.C.”

indicating service in the Royal Army Service Corps during the First World War.

The plate, chain, and dog clip clasp are all silver and hallmarked, with the plate stamped clearly on the reverse. The bracelet is in excellent antique condition with honest wear consistent with age and use.

A very collectable piece of WWI personal history and British silver craftsmanship.
