This is an authentic WW2 era Air Ministry stopwatch by Venner Time Switches Ltd, Swiss made and issued to the RAF. These stopwatches were used in aviation and navigation applications during the war. The example offered here is in excellent working condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age.
The enamel dial is clearly marked Venner Time Switches Ltd No. 6732 Type H.12. The rear of the case is engraved with the Air Ministry crown AM Ref. No. 6B/132, Stopwatch Mark VI, No. 144/38, confirming its RAF service issue.
Inside, the movement is signed Venner Time Switches Ltd No. 3364, Swiss made, with 11 jewels, one adjustment, and retains its spare parts recess. The case serial number is 737440.
