Brief Brand History – Le Cheminant
Le Cheminant is a historic watch retailer and brand name originating in the Channel Islands, with roots going back to the 19th century. During the mid-20th century, Le Cheminant sold Swiss-made watches under its own branding, typically using high-quality ébauche movements from established Swiss manufacturers such as A. Schild. These watches were aimed at the quality-conscious UK market rather than mass production.
