Antique Silver Fusee Pocket Watch – London 1873, Samuel Freeman – Working

A fine antique silver fusee pocket watch, hallmarked London 1873, with the case by noted silversmith Samuel Freeman. This key-wound watch features a clean white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial.

The inside dust cover is engraved "Jas Gilmour", most likely the original owner. The movement is numbered 42949 and retains its gilt plates with a beautifully engraved balance cock.
