An attractive antique sterling silver fob medal, hallmarked in Birmingham for 1909 and made by William Hair Haseler, a well-regarded Birmingham silversmith. The medal features an ornate pierced silver surround with a central shield panel in gilt or gold-coloured finish, engraved with the initials “P.D.”.
The reverse is engraved with a clear and appealing sporting inscription:
