A fine antique boxed pair of sterling silver napkin rings, made by John Thompson & Sons, with matching engraved decoration and beaded borders.
Although not an original set, the pair complement each other beautifully and are presented together in a fitted case with a green silk and velvet interior.
One napkin ring is hallmarked Chester, 1908, and the other Birmingham, 1909, both by the same maker. Each carries clear hallmarks and finely engraved decoration typical of the period.
